Real Estate Professional and Golf Enthusiast Bill Mitchell Is On Par to End Breast Cancer
Carmel, IN (PRWEB) September 10, 2015 -- Broker/Realtor and golf devotee Bill Mitchell is not only devoted to his clients but to helping others in need. Bill’s passion for golf and giving back to the community led him for the third consecutive year to sponsor Plum Creek’s Rally for the Cure golf event. The event, affectionately called “Bosom Buddies,” benefits the Central Indiana Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, whose mission is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering others, ensuring quality care for all and investing in science to find the cures.
“I am extremely honored to help raise awareness and funds for this worthy organization,” said Bill. “The money we raised will be used to help local women with early detection and provide better care, thus creating more positive outcomes.”
The Rally for the Cure event has grown each year since its inception in 2012. This year’s event raised more than $20,000 through the 120 participants and sponsors, including Bill. “We are already looking forward to next year’s event to further spread awareness about breast health and breast cancer,” said Bill. “With your help, we can get closer to a world without breast cancer.”

In addition to combating breast cancer, Bill also spearheads The Mitchell Continuing Education Scholarship through the Indiana Golf Foundation. The scholarship was created to encourage and promote the attainment of higher-education goals for high school seniors who have actively participated in the game of golf and have excelled in their academic achievements. To fund the annual scholarship, Bill sets aside $100 from every closed real estate transaction that The Mitchell Team completes each year.
