Real Time Pain Relief Partners with Nonprofit Outdoor Therapy Program for Veterans Warrior Hike
Edmond, OK (PRWEB) July 09, 2015 -- Real Time Pain Relief (RTPR), makers of the popular rub-on pain relief lotion and products since 1998, announced today they are proud to enter an agreement with Warrior Hike, an outdoor therapy program designed to support veterans transitioning from military service by hiking America’s National Scenic Trails. RTPR will supply Warrior Hike with their U.S.-made rub-on pain relief lotion and products to be supplied to the veterans participating in the program. This includes Real Time Pain Relief 2 ounce tubes. Real Time Pain Relief is an FDA registered OTC pain relief product.
“Real Time Pain Relief is proud to support Warrior Hike and its Founder and Executive Director, Sean Gobin, who was recently named a 2015 CNN Hero,” said Real Time Pain Relief Co-Founder Ron Snodgrass. “The program they provide to the veterans who are returning home, many of whom are suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), is invaluable. Warrior Hike provides veterans with the benefits of long distance hiking and our Real Time Pain Relief products will help veterans complete their hike,” concluded Snodgrass.
”Hiking eight hours per day for months on end definitely comes with its share of aches and pains,” said Warrior Hike Founder and Executive Director, Sean Gobin. “Therefore we are honored to have Real Time Pain Relief as a sponsor for proven pain relief cream for our veterans hiking the trails.”
According to the Department of Veterans Affairs, over 2.5 million veterans have returned home from Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001 and over 20% suffer from PTSD. Support for the Warrior Hike program comes primarily from partners and sponsors that donate vital equipment, food and supplies each year, providing veterans with a safe, comfortable and peaceful journey as they find healing in the outdoors. Veteran hikers get to keep all the gear provided, allowing them to return to the trail any time they feel the need. At the completion of their hike, Warrior Hike also will assist veterans with job placement opportunities.
