Realtor Jill Schwartz Completes Trifecta of Green Designations
Bethesda, MD (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- The Green Resource Council has awarded Jill Schwartz the “Green Designation” from the National Association of Realtors (NAR). The National Association of Realtors has created NAR’s Green Designation to service the growing demand for “green” expertise in real estate.
Jill has furthered her green education by joining the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), a committee comprised of architects, real estate agents, building owners, lawyers, building representatives and environmentalists that provide the foundation of LEED Green Building Rating System for all segments of the building industry.
Jill has also completed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Certification Program and advanced training in five environmental categories, including: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials & Resources and Indoor Environmental Quality.
“I have advanced my training in issues specific to green real estate as a Green Designee for NAR and as an eco-broker/eco-sociate,” explains Jill. “I can now assist home buyers with greener choices that help them to experience healthier indoor air quality and see the cost benefits of green upgrades and features through return on investments.”
Jill shares her knowledge of green materials, energy-efficient technologies, green building and product ratings, green design principles and insights with her clients, including her access to top industry resources and tools that create awareness for healthier living choices.
