Recharge Sport Adds Fleet of ElliptiGOs to Innovative Fitness and Recovery Tools
Bend, OR (PRWEB) September 08, 2014 -- ElliptiGO Inc., creators of the world’s first outdoor elliptical bicycle, today announced that Recharge Sport in Bend, Oregon has begun offering both members and non-members access to their new fleet of red ElliptiGOs. On Mondays and Thursdays, one of Recharge’s instructors takes groups of riders on a 45-minute, low-impact workout through the surrounding area, offering tips on how to get the most out of the ride. Everyone can customize their individual workout intensity as they go, making these group rides suitable for all levels of athletes, as well as those still recovering from injury. During the rest of the week, the ElliptiGOs are available for rent so that anyone can get in a low-impact workout through the Bend area on their own.
Recharge co-owner and professional runner, Renee Baillie, was the force behind bringing the fleet of ElliptiGOs into the gym. “I was introduced to the ElliptiGO over a year ago while searching for a way to supplement my training without impact,” stated Baillie. “I’ve had numerous injuries over my career and I truly believe that the ElliptiGO has aided my training and helped keep me healthy. Athletes of all levels can benefit from using the ElliptiGO and now I’m pleased to offer our members and the Bend community access to this innovative way to train.”
In addition to being a good option for a low-impact workout, the “fun factor” was a major reason that Baillie wanted to offer the ElliptiGO to its members. “The ElliptiGO has several benefits for runners, including helping to improve running form by teaching your body to better activate glute and core muscles,” said Baillie. “But the ElliptiGO is fun, too! Instead of being indoors, you can feel the exhilaration of riding outside with the wind in your face while you get stronger with less risk of injury. It’s training that both our members and I look forward to, and now we have the ability to do it as often as we like.”
