Red States/Blue States: Mayweather vs. McGregor Survey Will Make You Want to Punch Someone
Boston, Massachusetts (PRWEB) August 25, 2017 -- This week millions of fans around the world are getting ready to watch one of the most anticipated fights in decades between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. MocoSpace, the leading mobile gaming and chat community, surveyed its community about their expectations for the upcoming fight. The survey looked specifically at the expected winners, who they planned to watch the fight with, geography, and any correlation between political and fight preferences.
The results came in fast, with over 10,000 gamers surveyed in under 24 hours (see infographic below). The survey revealed a disconnect between couples with less than 10% of men planning to watch the fight with their significant other whereas nearly 25% of women planned on watching it with theirs. Roughly 30% believe the fight will last all 12 rounds. And over 30% think Mayweather will knockout McGregor.
Perhaps most interesting among the results is the correlation between fight favorites and political favorites. Over 50% of Trump fans are pulling for McGregor, and over 60% of Clinton fans are pulling for Mayweather. However, both groups believe Mayweather is more likely to win the fight.
