RedShift Ships First TopTIR™ Mid-IR Laser Modules
Burlington, MA (PRWEB) January 22, 2014 -- RedShift Systems Corp., a leader in infrared tunable filter technology, announced today that it has begun shipment of engineering samples of its thermo-optically tuned TopTIR laser modules to select OEM customers. These deliveries enable OEM customers to move forward in adapting the laser sources to both new and existing spectroscopy measurement applications in the environmental, industrial, defense, and biomedical markets. TopTIR tunable lasers combine solid state tunable filters and quantum cascade lasers (QCL) to achieve very high wavelength precision and accuracy over a broad spectral range in the mid-infrared.
