Regenestem Training’s Two-day Course on Adult Stem Cell Harvesting Receives Accreditation from Major University in Mexico
Miami, Florida (PRWEB) September 08, 2016 -- With an emphasis on serving markets throughout Latin America as well as the U.S. with the latest treatments and research involving adult stem cells, the educational division of Regenestem (http://www.regenestem.com) has just received an accreditation from a major university in Mexico for one of its popular training programs.
Regenestem Training (http://www.regenestemtraining.com) got the accreditation from the University of Guanajuato, a public university with schools in 14 cities in the Mexican state of Guanajuato. Specifically, the credential was given for the two-day interactive course, “Adipose Derived and Bone Marrow Stem Cell Harvesting and Isolation,” which the company has been offering for five years.
This is the first time in Mexican history that a major public university has granted an accreditation to a U.S.-based company focusing on regenerative medicine.
"We have received accreditations for our training programs from universities in the past, but to be able to get the recognition from an institution of this magnitude is quite an honor,” said Ricardo De Cubas, founder and CEO of Regenestem. “Mexico has always been an important market for us – and the doctors there are on the cutting edge of medicine. Now that we have the backing of the University of Guanajuato, it is a major first step of many things to come for the Mexican market. This two-day course has reached a major milestone."
The two-day program focuses on the harvesting of stem cells from peripheral blood, bone marrow, and adipose tissue. Participants gain hands-on experience for collecting up to 60 ccs. of fat tissue and the safe use of Lidocaine as a numbing medication, with observation and training from board certified cosmetic surgeons.
This interactive training course will be led by Dr. Jose Miguel Zepeda, a surgeon and hemopathic doctor, and a longtime faculty member at the University of Guanajuato.
Physicians that participate in the course will receive a certificate of completion signed by the rector of the university.
