He also offers expertise in guiding clients through the process of financial/legal due diligence and closing the transaction. Tommie Singleton, CPA, CISA, CITP, CFF, CGEIT, serves as CRI's Director of Consulting Services. His CRI responsibility areas encompass IT audit, forensic accounting, and Service Organization Controls (SOC) audits - including SSAE No. 16 audits (formerly SAS 70 audits). Since 2006, he has been serving as editor of the Information Systems Audit and Control Journal “IT Audit Basics” column, which is published six times annually. Singleton also served on the Information Technology Executive Committee (ITEC) for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) from 2008-2011. Currently, Singleton serves as a coordinator of the AICPA’s two national IT Audit Schools.
