Elk Grove Village, IL (PRWEB) July 16, 2014 -- PMI Chicagoland, the Chicago Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) is hosting a free Knowledge Sharing event on "Applying Agile Project Management at Enterprise Scale: Tackling the Tough Issues of Team, Program and Portfolio" beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 24 at Elk Grove Village Library in Elk Grove Village, IL. Participants can earn 2 PDUs for attending. Price: free.

About our facilitator:
Scott Stribrny is an experienced project management professional. For more than 30 years, he demonstrated exceptional outcomes and dramatically improved the management of complex information technology projects for small and large multi-year development programs. His unique approaches are customized to the culture of the organization. Successful project outcomes were ensured by focusing on the technical and people aspects of requirements development, risk mitigation, reductions in software and technical debt, development of project member team skills, customized use of project management tools, and building customer participation.
Mr. Stribrny is the Cofounder, President, and Managing Director of Group Atlantic, Inc., a consulting firm that has provided services to private, commercial, and governmental organizations on successful strategy development and operations improvement since 1992. He is also a Senior Consultant with Cutter Consortium's Business Technologies Strategies practice and Enterprise Risk Management & Governance practice. He is a co-founder and former leader of the Chicago Software Process Improvement Network, and was an organizer of the 1998 Software Engineering Process Group conference.
