Barasch, owner of Nutritional Health Solutions, on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, will be speaking at a TASH Fitness event, “6 Surprising & Easily Proven Ways to Soar Into Your Health,” from 7 to 9 p.m. at 8816 Bronx Avenue, Skokie, IL. Barasch, a certified digestive health specialist, will be discussing proven ways one can re-establish health and make changes in their life to help them on their journey, and educating attendees on how to improve energy, get rid of gas and bloating and reduce and eliminate cravings.
“The media, government, corporations and the food industry have invaded our bodies,” said Barasch, who is fully committed to both making her clients feel better and educating them about what is causing their discomfort. “From processed foods to putting fat and cholesterol on the ‘limit quantities’ list, our country has been sold a lie.”
Barasch is an advocate for proper digestive health and regularly writes and speaks on the topic. “Digestion is the key to making sure our bodies run efficiently,” she added. The first time she tried specific digestive enzymes, Barasch found that not only did her gut feel better, but her hormonal acne cleared up, she slept better and her 3 p.m. Snickers cravings were gone. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Bears of Hope, which makes handmade fabric bears for children and adults facing a life crisis. The bears give them comfort and hope and are there to hug, hold, cuddle or talk to whenever they feel sick, sad, hurt or lonely. Additionally, attendees can drop off new or gently worn pairs of shoes that will be donated to Soles4Souls, a nonprofit global social enterprise committed to fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing.
