Renewable Choice Energy Hires Technology Industry Veteran CEO as New President
Boulder, CO (PRWEB) March 16, 2015 -- Boulder-based Renewable Choice Energy announced today that it has hired Pete Dignan to occupy the newly created position of President & COO.
Dignan is the former founder and CEO of ProtoTest, a Denver-based software consulting business. During a sabbatical from the company in 2010-2011, Dignan served as the Executive Director for the non-profit Connected Organizations for a Responsible Economy (CORE) where he launched the CORE Catalyst program, helping more than 20 Colorado companies—including ProtoTest—become certified B Corporations. He holds a BA degree in environmental science from the University of Virginia.
Dignan is a tireless advocate for corporate responsibility. Recognized by B Lab, the non-profit organization behind the B Corp movement as a “B Corp Champion,” Dignan was instrumental in bringing benefit corporation legislation to Colorado. He also serves on the Sustainability Advisory Committee for Eco-Products in Boulder and on the Colorado B Corp Advisory Council.
