Renowned Composer Strikes Political Chords, Releasing Animated Satire Entitled The Donald Trump Operetta
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 16, 2015 -- Popular composer Steve Ford has created original music for thousands of national television commercials and leading brands during his career and has now unveiled his own political satire piece entitled “The Donald Trump Operetta”. This five minute, fully animated video musically addresses the Trump campaign to date.
Fascinated by the "Trump Phenomenon" and it’s distinctly American theme of a "patent medicine show", Ford composed the music and lyrics featuring “the Donald" projecting his off-the-cuff musings to an audience of Trump followers in a “call and response” style reminiscent of the “Music Man”.
The piece touches upon the zaniness of the campaign and is compiled primarily (with an occasional slight embellishment) from things Mr. Trump has actually said on the campaign trail. “It’s been great fun to work on a project like this running up to such an important presidential election,” Ford said.
First conceived in September and fully animated through November, the relevance of this humorous piece only increases daily as Mr.Trump continues to dominate the news and capture national and international attention.
