When taking rental applications, property managers often ask for additional documentation such as a copy of a driver’s license or paycheck stub. Rentec Direct’s software now supports file attachments to online rental applications. Prospective renters will be able to attach images (.png/.jpg) and Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) when they apply online. Property managers using the platform can easily retrieve these attachments when viewing rental applications.
Another significant new feature of 2018 includes bank synchronization and enhanced account reconciliation features. These financial and accounting upgrades allow users to securely connect to supported banks to reconcile accounts. An improvement over previous processes, users can now easily match actual transactions from bank accounts with expense or income items that are recorded in Rentec Direct.
