Renters Warehouse CEO Brenton Hayden Makes Bold Moves to Build the Property Management Empire
Minnetonka, MN (PRWEB) October 11, 2013 -- It was announced today that Renters Warehouse CEO and Founder Brenton Hayden has appointed a new CEO of the Minnesota brokerage and that he will now sit as Chairman of the Board while continuing to oversee Renters Warehouse USA as CEO. Hayden, who founded the company in 2007 has served as the CEO of the Minnesota brokerage and at a national level for the last six years. His dedication and entrepreneurial spirit has led the company to expand nationally in nine states to date. A strategic move, long in the making, this will mark only the beginning of huge things to come for the Inc. 500 | 5000 company.
“We’ve spent two years working towards recruiting an award-winning management team,” explains Hayden. “Now that we have them in place - we’re ready to see Renters Warehouse 2.0 come to life across the nation, with a goal of becoming the largest, most respected residential property management company in the U.S.”
Taking the reigns as CEO of the Minnesota brokerage is Kevin Ortner. A former corporate pilot and ‘hobby’ real estate investor, Ortner was previously the President and COO of Renters Warehouse. He began as a franchisee, owning the first Renters Warehouse franchise in Phoenix, Arizona before being recruited by Hayden to be the Director of Property Management in Minnesota. He and Hayden worked together for five years to build the systems (marketing, advertising and technology) that have led to now managing over 3500 properties in Twin Cities and 12 offices and franchises across the nation.
Serving as President of Renters Warehouse USA, is Ron Wright. Wright was previously the Midwest Director of Area Sales for Coca-Cola Refreshments, where he executed national, regional, and local foodservice and retail customer plans across the Midwest U.S. regions. As General Manager for the Kellogg Company, Wright led a team of 1,500 employees and was responsible for a seven-state territory. Wright will now be leading the operating unit responsible for all Renters Warehouse franchise business in North America.
Hayden and the Renters Warehouse team are also welcoming their new CMO Pam Kosanke and CTO Caleb Gilbertson. Kosanke, who brings over 12 years of experience to the table, is the former CMO of USA Rugby and Vice President of Leo Burnett of Chicago. While at USA Rugby, Kosanke completely overhauled the organization’s main websites and launched campaigns across six social media systems, including launching the first ever USA Rugby App. Previous successes also include but are not limited to, managing the Allstate, McDonalds, Kelloggs and Hallmark accounts while at Leo Burnett.
Newly appointed CTO Caleb Gilbertson has been working closely with Hayden to implement new technology into Renters Warehouse since 2011 and played an integral part in the acquisition of the RentFeeder.com software earlier this year. Gilbertson will oversee all franchise technology for which he managed, created, or modified to better fit the Renters Warehouse organization. With a vast skill set in various aspects of business and technology, Caleb plans to continue to work with Hayden and team to push the status quo in the property management industry.
With this dream team in place, Hayden is ready to watch his empire continue to expand. “I’m really looking forward to spending my time focusing on projects that are important to the business,” says Hayden. “I now get to work on the business, instead of in the business.”
