Rentokil Pest Control to Launch Post-Pest Disinfection Service in South Africa
Cape Town, South Africa (PRWEB UK) 30 May 2014 -- As an extension to their pest control service ranges, Rentokil will be launching a new pest disinfection service in June 2014 which reduces the risk of the illnesses associated with pest infestations. Pests can carry bacteria and viruses which can pose a serious health risk to people and pets.
These pathogens may be spread throughout an infested property via urine and faeces, as pests forage for food and build nesting sites. Infection can then occur through skin contact (particularly through cuts or wounds), or by consuming contaminated food or water. Rodents, insects and birds can carry a range of disease causing pathogens; including Salmonella, Hantavirus, Leptosprosis and E.Coli.
Rentokil Pest Control's new pest disinfection service uses a unique bactericide to combat this threat; the disinfectant used in the service kills up to 99.9% of pathogens and is certified SABS HACCP food safe.

It is non-corrosive, non-staining and safe to be applied to any surface including plastic, soft metals and fabric.
