PHOENIX, AZ (PRWEB) June 08, 2016 -- This year's azcentral.com honorees of the 'Top Companies to Work for in Arizona' competition were recognized at a ceremony held yesterday at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix, led by sponsors of the annual program -- Republic Media, parent company to The Arizona Republic, azcentral.com and La Voz; presenting sponsor Arizona Commerce Authority; BestCompaniesAZ; and Best Companies Group. The 2016 honorees were recognized for their accomplishments before a sold-out crowd of more than 600 attendees.
Companies that made the list were selected on the basis of an extensive evaluation of employer practices, employee engagement scores, and achieving high marks in satisfaction from employees surveyed at each participating company. The top three ranking companies in each employee size categories of 25 - 99 U.S. employees, 100 to 999 and 1,000-plus U.S. employees were highlighted along with a top company winner named for the following three additional Spotlight Awards - Women's Initiatives, Diversity Initiatives and Spirit, an award for the company who exhibited the most enthusiasm and team spirit at the ceremony. The full list of the Top Companies is published on azcentral.com and will be available in a special supplement that will appear in The Arizona Republic on June 12 and in La Voz on June 17.
