Reserve a Trip to The Southern Living "Taste of Charleston"
North Charleston, SC (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- Lancaster Tours, Inc. is pleased to offer a charter on September 29 for the 33rd annual “Taste of Charleston” presented by The Southern Living. The event will feature samplings of local cuisine from over 50 of Charleston’s finest restaurants.
The dedicated charter service will depart the Lancaster Tours office in Myrtle Beach for Charleston, SC at 9 a.m. for the Lowcountry's culinary event of the year. Estimated return time to Myrtle Beach is tentatively scheduled for 8 p.m. Cost of the charter is $70 per person, and includes admission into the culinary showcase and round-trip motor coach transportation. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the following charities: The Ronald McDonald House, Hollings Cancer Center, Hospitality Heroes, Shriners Hospitals for Children and Charleston County Schools Science Materials Resource Center.
The historic Boone Hall Plantation will host the extravagant event, featuring delicacies from Charleston’s most renowned eateries. There will be a specialty and imported beer tasting tent, live entertainment, the legendary “Waiter’s Race” and a children’s area.
