ReserveAid Presents Check to Benefit the General Richard B. Myers Veterans Program
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 11, 2015 -- On March 3rd, Polly Weidenkopf, Executive Director of ReserveAid, presented General Myers with a generous check benefiting the General Richard B. Myers Veterans Biomedical Technology Program™. ReserveAid’s ongoing support for the General Myers Program has been a major factor in its success providing veteran graduates with careers and secure financial futures for their families.
The General Myers Program trains veterans as professional biomedical equipment technicians in only five months and helps to place them in well-paying jobs with great opportunity for advancement. Veteran graduates are now working in positions with prominent healthcare organizations around the country. One graduate is currently working in Germany as a contractor for the US military.
"While we take great pride in the core strengths of our program, the successful placement of our graduates into a lifetime career is our ultimate goal," says General Myers, "We are grateful to ReserveAid for their generosity and to Polly Weidenkopf for her passionate support of our veterans."
