Resonance Consultancy EVP Elected to the Caribbean Tourism Organization Board of Directors
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 26, 2016 -- Richard Cutting-Miller went to Barbados to share Resonance Consultancy’s 2016 Caribbean Tourism Quality Index and returned with a high-profile board of directors post.
The Executive Vice President of Resonance, a global travel and tourism, strategy, research and design consultancy, was elected to the coveted and influential position of a member of the Caribbean Tourism Organization board of directors – the highest executive body of the 30-country-and-territory organization, with the objective to provide to and through its members the services and information necessary for the development of sustainable tourism for the economic and social benefit of the Caribbean people.
Resonance’s Cutting-Miller will help the CTO with its vision to position the Caribbean as the most desirable, year-round, warm-weather destination by 2017, under the mandate of “Leading Sustainable Tourism – One Sea, One Voice, One Caribbean.”

The board elections were held as part of Caribbean Tourism Organization’s State of the Tourism Industry Conference (SOTIC) last week, where Cutting-Miller shared the 2016 Caribbean Tourism Quality Index for the second year in a row, an exclusive measurement and ranking of the competitive performance of 28 Caribbean destinations from a tourism development perspective.
The index quantifies the supply-side strengths, weaknesses and competitiveness of each destination in 17 different tourism asset categories.
