Mallett will be responsible for all sales and business development efforts throughout the Central Region of the United States and will report directly to RRT’s CEO. She will be based out of Houston, Texas.
Mallett previously served in a variety of business development consulting positions for notable firms Gerson Lehrman Group, PetCareRX and Quadranet Systems, Inc. She regularly advised executive team members regarding the business planning, sales strategy, new market penetration, positioning and other sales operations.
Prior to her consulting roles, Mallett served as the Director of Business Development for International Markets for OpenTable, Inc., a real-time online consumer reservation provider. Mallett’s responsibilities included the execution of sales strategy initiatives, the development of regional sales teams and the development of joint venture partner relationships within international and domestic markets. She was one of the initial key sales resources assisting OpenTable to realize explosive growth during the mid to late 2000s and consistently in the top 5% of sales producers for the company. Additionally, she was directly responsible for the development of various international markets, in particular Mexico, which realized well over 250% annual growth from 2006 to 2010 and an additional 165% growth in 2011. For her restaurant industry involvement in Mexico via OpenTable, Mallett received outstanding recognition awards from La Asociacion Mexicana de Restaurantes in 2006, and from the Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Restaurantes y Alimentos Condimentados (CANIRAC) in 2008.
Prior to OpenTable, Mallett was the Regional Sales Account Executive for Rewards Network Inc., a national dining rewards program provider. During her time with Rewards Network, Mallett successfully enhanced market growth for region by upgrading the sales team and augmenting the portfolio of clients, and was honored with the Top National Sales Award in 2002 and 2003.
