The developers at Kittehface Software worked with Intel engineers to optimize the live wallpaper for the unique capabilities of new Android* tablets. Because they wanted to create a product that was both attractive and functional, they called upon the developer communities available through the Intel Developer Zone to receive technical guidance and assistance with the product’s development.
“We tried very hard to create a live wallpaper that had gorgeous, realistic graphics,” noted Statz. “At the same time, we were also cognizant of the app’s functionality. The exceptional battery capabilities within Android* tablets allowed us to present the user with an artistic experience, but not at the expense of battery life.”
