Dr. Lawrence Mielnicki provides clients with expertise gathered over 30+ years of developing and evaluating statistical and econometric models in the banking and telecommunications industries. Dr. Mielnicki co-founded RiskGroup360 in 2014. Previously, Dr. Mielnicki was Executive Vice President of Retail Credit Risk Models at PNC. In this position he was responsible for the development and maintenance of statistical models used to measure credit risk for credit decisioning, and economic and regulatory (Basel II) purposes. At PNC, Dr. Mielnicki was also responsible for the retail portions of ALLL loss reserving and the first system wide stress testing (SCAP).
Before joining PNC, Dr. Mielnicki was Senior Vice President and Global Director of Value Analytics for De Lage Landen Financial Services.
Dr. Reza Barazesh, a co-founder of RiskGroup360, has provided risk management analytic consulting to a variety of high profile industry leaders. With over 30 years of experience with both generic and custom risk management solutions and as Senior Scoring Officer with major commercial data providers, Dr. Barazesh has led highly professional teams in developing state-of-the-art modeling and analytics and risk management solutions. He is a market leader in statistical consultative services to both financial institutions with sophisticated modeling groups as well as to smaller financial and non-financial institutions.
In addition to developing industry standard statistical and risk management consulting services, Dr. Barazesh is recognized for providing commercial economic forecast information to the credit industry and media publications.
Prior to consulting work, Dr. Reza Barazesh was Senior Vice President of the Commercial Analytical Services team for Equifax North American Commercial Services for nine years, specializing in the development of leading-edge risk management systems. Before joining Equifax, Dr. Barazesh was with Dun & Bradstreet for ten years as Vice President and Chief Scoring Officer.
