Revgear Competition League Host Jiu-Jitsu and Grappling Tournament In Huntington Beach
Van Nuys, CA (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Revgear Competition League has announced their first tournament of 2015 scheduled to take place on February 28, 2015 in Huntington Beach, CA. Huntington Beach High School, located at 1905 Main Street, Huntington Beach, CA, will be the host venue for this grappling and jiu-jitsu tournament event.
The Revgear Competition League brings a unique grappling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament structure with double-elimination matches for all While Belt, Blue Belt and Kids divisions of 5 or more competitors. This guarantees a minimum of two (2) competition matches as well as the benefits of pre-scheduled brackets, day before weigh-ins, and more.
Revgear Competition League and the Revgear World Open events were developed by leading Martial Arts manufacturer Revgear whose 18-year history in the sport has lead them to a position as one of the trusted names in the Martial Arts industry. Revgear’s Founder Paul Reavlin said, “I am excited that we ended the year with a tournament here in Southern California and can start 2015 in our backyard. Revgear World Open events took the grappling community by storm in 2014 hosting successful tournaments in Costa Mesa, CA, Kansas City, MO and Denver, CO. Events featured competitors ranging from former UFC, Bellator, and Strikeforce MMA superstars to local competitors and highly talented grapplers of all ages. Attendees also included well-known athletes such as Josh Barnett, Cris ‘Cyborg’ Santos, Jeff Glover and others.
Revgear World Open - Huntington Beach is a pre-registration only event. Medals and Championship Belts will be awarded for various division competitors. Cash prizes of $500.00 are being offered to winners of the Male & Female Adult Black Belt Gi and Adult No Gi Expert Absolute divisions. Early Bird Pricing is in effect until February 14, 2015 allowing competitors to save time and money entering early before Regular Pricing goes into effect on February 15, 2015.
