Revolutionary War Veterans Association Announces LibertySeed Event in Indianapolis

Ramseur, NC (PRWEB) April 17, 2014 -- The Revolutionary War Veterans Association (RWVA) will hold a LibertySeed presentation at the Indiana War Memorial Pershing Auditorium in Indianapolis on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 7:00-8:30 PM EDT. The event is offered free of charge and open to the public.

Many believe the Revolution began with Paul Revere, the figure from history books frantically riding on horseback through the countryside shouting, “The British are coming! The British are coming!” What if that weren’t true? What if many things we thought known about the American Revolution weren’t really accurate? Paul Revere was one of the Sons of Liberty who helped set in motion the events that would occur on April 19, 1775, but he didn’t act alone. There were other fascinating characters, brave men and women, whose stories need to be told.

At LibertySeed events, historical storytellers passionately share the Three Strikes of the Match, the series of three pivotal events that ignited the Revolutionary War. It took more than a little prodding from King George to spark the flames of war and sufficiently rile the Colonists to take up arms.
