Revving Good Times in CFD’s Privileged Clients’ Night 2013
(PRWEB) October 08, 2013 -- As it is Phillip CFD’s 10th Anniversary, this year’s Privileged Clients’ Night was specially held in conjunction with the Singapore Grand Prix F1 on Fri, 20th September 2013. As our top 50 clients and their partners arrived at The Barbershop by Timbre, the signature sounds from the F1 engines could be heard as they zipped around the street track next to the venue. The excitement was palpable and guests were each given a ‘survival pack’ which contained ear plugs to protect their ears from the engine noise as well as a poncho, in case of rain. All of this would be put to good use with their walkabout tickets, which Phillip CFD also gave to guests as a door gift. Adding to the excitement, guests could also view what was happening on the race track thanks to a TV screen which had a ‘live’ feed while being entertained by our live musicians on stage.
Our Privileged Clients’ Night officially started with a welcome speech by Mr Loh Hoon Sun, Managing Director of Phillip Securities, who thanked all of our clients for celebrating Phillip CFD’s 10th Anniversary with us and how 2013 has proved to be a very eventful year so far. "In January, we celebrated the fact that Phillip CFD has grown to be the largest CFD provider in Singapore for 3 years running, according to Investment Trends survey. Today, we are also celebrating our award for being the Most Preferred CFD Provider in Singapore as voted by investors during the recent INVEST Fair. We are also going global – having set up CFDs in Australia and soon in other countries," added Mr Loh.
After thanking clients for their continued support, it was dinner time and guests tucked into a wide array of food available at the buffet spread. Simultaneously, guests were split into groups of 4 where each team competed against each other at our own little racing competition. Teams had to clock the fastest time on our F1 simulators and the catch was that each member of each group could only ‘drive’ once.
As the racing competition went into high gear, the actual F1 cars took to the track for their trial runs. Thus, teams who were not competing started to go on their walkabout together with some Phillip CFD dealers accompanying them. Guests were welcomed to come back after their walk to enjoy the air-conditioning as well as drinks as the temperature for the evening rose.
The Phillip CFD racing competition ended on a high note with Group 8 clinching the title and won shopping vouchers for themselves! The best dressed award went to Berwin Tan who won a coffee machine which he will probably have to share with his parents since he is only 7 years old. Despite having given out all these awards, the festivities did not end as guests came back from their walk around the track and joined us for another few rounds of drinks.
