Reynolds Polymer Technology Expanding Sales Team with Addition of Butch Ringelspaugh
Grand Junction, Colorado (PRWEB) February 26, 2014 -- Reynolds Polymer Technology is happy to welcome Butch Ringelspaugh to its North American sales team. Mr. Ringelspaugh has a strong background in aquarium management and conservation work along with a formal education in Environmental Science and Policy. These attributes will bring an expert level of customer service into the world class RPT product line. “When I made the decision to go into sales, RPT was my first choice,” said Butch. “Having worked with them in the past as an aquarium curator, I was impressed by the quality of work and added value that RPT offered.”
Butch has worked in the public aquarium industry for over a decade, giving him the opportunity to view the habitat building process from a unique perspective. During his time in his previous career field, Butch also learned firsthand the ins and outs of acrylic ownership and maintenance. His experience included donning a wetsuit on a regular basis to perform the often cumbersome task of panel polishing.
“Part of what I hope to do at RPT is to help those who work in public facilities to better care for their acrylic panels. Reynolds Polymer is launching an initiative that will enable customers to renew warranties before they expire and offer assistance in refurbishing their acrylic. Our goal is not just to provide the product, but to establish and maintain a relationship with our customers in order to provide them with a peace of mind as well as the necessary means to keep their acrylic sparkling,” said Ringelspaugh. “The fact is no matter how careful you are with your acrylic; it will become scratched and or gouged by the sharp teeth, nails, and scales of the animal collection. Humans, both guests and staff, are also prone to cause damage. A key advantage of acrylic over glass is the ability to repair almost any type of surface impairment. I will be helping customers to keep their acrylic in mint condition.”
Butch will also be servicing new accounts with custom acrylic needs. His previous experience gave him the opportunity to envision and assist in the design of water-retaining exhibits and educational displays. “I hope to literally enable everyone’s water retaining ideas to hold water. The possibilities with acrylic are endless.”
In his free time, the Florida native spends as much time on the ocean as possible. In fact, he literally lives on the water in a boat. “I love the sea and the creatures that inhabit it,” commented Ringelspaugh. “That is why I chose the career path that I did.”
