Rhode Island Novelty® (RINCO) Names Derek Lovato Theme Park and Hospitality Sales Director

Mr. Lovato joins the Rhode Island Novelty team with more than 16 years of experience in the theme park and hospitality industry.
Mr. Lovato has worked with top theme park operators including: Six Flags, PARC Management, and Herschend Family Entertainment. Managing multiple areas of park operations, his predominant focus was in revenue and in-park services where he oversaw retail, games, arcades, rentals, and admission attractions.
Mr. Lovato most recently served as Account Executive at Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park, a Herschend Family Entertainment company, where he was responsible for $1.4M in ticket sales, special events, catering orders, and online sales.
An active member of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), Lovato has served on the Games Advisory Committee and has taught advanced training courses in loss prevention, inventory management, and salesmanship.
