Ribbon Cutting Event: Hayward Lumberyard, Design Center and Pro-Hardware Store in Redwood City
MONTEREY, Calif. (PRWEB) October 21, 2014 -- The newest Hayward Lumberyard, Window and Door Design Center and Pro-Hardware Store will be celebrating their grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Wednesday, November 5th at their state-of-the-art facility at 1775 East Bayshore Road, just east of the Woodside Road exit of Highway 101 in Redwood City (follow the signs for Seaport Boulevard). The event will include a taco lunch, the opportunity to meet more than thirty building materials suppliers, an AIA-accredited class on state-of-the-art building practices, a cocktail party with hors d’oeuvres, and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce.
The event is designed to offer something for all of Hayward’s new and existing customers. Hayward will serve tacos from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, compliments of Weyerhaeuser. The building materials suppliers will be available from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The AIA-accredited class, “Build Tight, Ventilate Right,” which addresses improving health and comfort in the tighter buildings being built today, will be held in the Design Center at 3 PM. Afterwards, Hayward will host a cocktail party and ribbon cutting event in the Design Center between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM. All of the events are free and open to the public. Anyone interested in the AIA class should pre-register, as space is limited.
The new Hayward Redwood City location is conveniently located just off the freeway. It offers superior customer service and stocks a broader range of lumber and building materials than were available at the original T & H Lumber site. The new Design Center, located in front of the lumberyard, displays the finest brands of doors and windows, including Kolbe & Kolbe, Unilux, La Cantina, Rogue Valley, and Lemieux.
