Rich's Carpet One Floor & Home® Announces Partnership with Stephen Sillers Tunnel to Towers Foundation
Hamilton Township NJ (PRWEB) August 15, 2016 -- Rich's Carpet One Floor & Home® is proud to announce a new partnership with the charity Tunnel to Towers. Building for America's Bravest (BAFB) is a Tunnel to Towers program aimed to custom design and build homes specially adapted for injured American service members.
Rich's Carpet One Floor & Home® will donate installation services for Smart Homes in Mercer County, NJ. Rich's Carpet One is also encouraging clients and friends to give to BAFB online. As a sponsor, Rich's Carpet One Floor & Home® has pledged to match those donations dollar for dollar.
"Partnering with BFAB extends our company's community involvement efforts regionally and allows us to say a personal 'thank you' to people who sacrificed so much to keep us safe," said Rich Linnell, owner of Rich's Carpet One Floor & Home®. "It's one way to show some of the immense gratitude I've felt every day since 9/11." Linnell also participated in the 2014 Tunnel to Towers 5K Run in New York City.
To date, BFAB has completed 15 Smart Homes and projects to finish 14 more by the year's end. Twelve more smart homes are in the design phase for implementation next year.
The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation honors the sacrifice of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001, after he ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to respond to the World Trade Center attack.
