Richard Feldstein Explores Father-son Relationships in New Novel
Savannah, GA (PRWEB) March 19, 2014 -- Psychiatrist and author Richard Feldstein takes a psychiatric perspective in his new novel, “For Generations to Come: Volume Two of the Chardin Chronicles” (published by iUniverse), exploring the impact father-son relationships have on men as adults.
“‘For Generations to Come’ is a story reflecting male children coping with various developmental traumas and offering different ways in which they respond as adults,” Feldstein says. “It explores how an individual's struggles impact society on many levels such as initiating war, accepting or rejecting religion and the search for power.”
Taking place in an imagined location known as The Unified Territories, “For Generations to Come” follows four main characters, each of whom experiences different traumas in childhood. Each character responds differently to the situations presented to them, reflecting each one’s struggle against societal expectations, religious war and changing male relationships.
“For Generations to Come” reflects on and addresses varied themes that may resonate with readers: child abuse, religious intolerance, abandonment and others.
