Richard Ronan Joins Cutter Associates as Head of Execution Services
Boston, MA (PRWEB) July 24, 2014 -- Cutter Associates, LLC, the leading provider of operations and technology expertise to the investment management industry, today announced that Richard (“Rich”) Ronan has joined the firm as Managing Director for Execution Services.
Rich brings a wealth of experience to Cutter Associates and has already been instrumental in leading a number of projects for the firm.
“Rich provides a strong blend of business, investment and operational understanding, as well as an extensive background in application assessments and project management practices,” said John Clark, Head of Cutter Associates’ Consulting practice. “We have seen an increasing need for execution services as managers realize that legacy systems can’t keep pace with changes in asset types and regulatory requirements. Rich will play a critical role in successfully guiding our clients through these challenges.”
Prior to joining Cutter Associates, Rich was a Managing Director at BlackRock Solutions, where he co-led the implementation of Aladdin for Merrill Lynch’s Fixed Income and Equity Investment Management business. Rich also served as Director, Investment Systems at Merrill Lynch Investment Management, where he managed the firm’s suite of Front Office applications.
Lance Ihinger has been promoted to Principal and will focus on the public pension market. Lance, who was instrumental in growing the Execution Services practice at Cutter, will be focusing his efforts on serving the increasing needs of Cutter Associates’ public pension fund clients and prospects. Lance has built strong relationships with a number of public entities, and will focus on the specialized needs of Cutter’s public pension clients as this part of Cutter’s business continues to grow.
