Rick Otton Announces Real Estate Investing Solutions Amid Predictions Of 'Generation Rent'
(PRWEB) October 22, 2013 -- Real estate authority, Rick Otton, has assured Australians that permanent renting does not need to be the way of the future, countering claims the so-called ‘Generation Rent’ phenomenon has arrived on the nation’s shores. Mr Otton will share his unique and innovative property investing strategies at a Melbourne real estate seminar on 26 October.
Research released by the AHURI Swinburne Research Centre has found that ‘Generation Rent’, a worldwide trend describing people who are permanently locked out of home ownership, is starting to occur in Australia.
About 4.5 million Australians rent, about twice as many as in 1981 – and many are renting for longer. Of the 1.8 million households in private rental accommodation, a third have done so for more than 10 years.
The Centre’s director, Dr Wendy Stone, said the Australian Dream was diminishing.
"Lockout and blocked aspirations are happening at all ages, although it can be seen most significantly among the young," she said.
But Mr Otton – who is renowned for his low-risk, high reward policies that allow people to invest in property with little or no deposit, no stamp duty or financing from banking lenders – assured Australians there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
"The Australian Dream is well and truly alive for all property investors who are open to out-of-the-box strategies and who are willing to make that mental leap to realise that you don’t need money to make money in property," he said.

During his intensive training sessions, the real estate educator takes students on a step-by-step journey on how to buy a house without a new bank loan, how to find discount bargain properties, and how to turn negative geared properties into those with a positive cash flow.
"My experience has taught me there is more than enough opportunity for everybody, so I started showing people exactly how they can do it too. Over the years I’ve trained people in the US, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom," Mr Otton said.
"During the Melbourne real estate event on 26 October, I’ll help students see things differently and create their own financial freedom."
Places are limited for these open-to-the-public training sessions, and seating is often filled weeks ahead. The sessions are engaging, easy to understand and use real case studies to illustrate Mr Otton’s techniques.
