Ride The Lightning: Lucky Wheels Garage Announces Upcoming “White Lightning” Wet Hot American Summer-Themed Motorcycle Campout
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 13, 2016 -- Wrenching on motorcycles is fun, but getting together with a group of friends who also love working on their motorcycles to ride out into the desert for a weekend-long campout is even better.
Lucky Wheels Garage promises “friendship, passion, excitement, thrills, danger, glory, risk, and lust” at their upcoming “White Lightning Campout.” While this may sound like big talk, riders who have attended previous Lucky Wheels Garage events such as their annual Panty Drive Rodeo know they won’t be disappointed. The event begins at Lucky Wheels Garage’s Los Angeles location with a ride to Ojai where the campout itself will take place.
Campers will be divided into two teams by distinctive colored headbands. These two teams will compete with each other for eternal glory in tug of war, “bro”tato sack racing, the Golden Nugget, and other games. The night will conclude with a talent show and a dance party in proper “Wet Hot American Summer” fashion. Food and water will be provided, but campers must bring their own tents.
Lucky Wheels Garage is a Los Angeles-based DIY motorcycle garage dedicated to helping motorcyclists of all levels have access to space to work on their bikes, the tools they need, and a tight-knit community of like-minded individuals. Lucky Wheels Garage is part of a growing movement of moto collectives, open-armed spaces where motorcyclists can work on their bikes, seek assistance and instruction from experienced riders if they have questions or need specialized tools, and become part of a community of people who share the same passion. Lucky Wheels regularly hosts classes instructing riders of all levels how to maintain and modify their motorcycles, as well as basic fabrication skills for those looking to customize their motorcycles. Lucky Wheels is also known for their regular community events put on in partnership with numerous endemic and non-endemic establishments such as Pabst Blue Ribbon and British Customs.
Tickets to the “White Lightning Campout” are limited, so all interested riders are encouraged to get their tickets on the Lucky Wheels Garage website sooner rather than later if they don’t want to miss out.
Campers are encouraged to wear their best summer camp counselor outfits. Tube socks and short shorts are expected.
