Right Step Clear Lake Seminar on CRAFT Therapy Draws Addiction Experts
Houston, TX (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- Right Step Clear Lake, a new intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center in Houston, Texas, is assembling a group of international addiction experts June 23 through 25 for a seminar on Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT). Noted addiction educator and author Robert Meyers, Ph.D., who invented the CRAFT system, will present key aspects of the program, which has been featured on HBO’s Emmy award-winning series on addiction.
Pioneers in the field of addiction who are attending the event include:

The CRAFT system, which teaches family members how to use positive reinforcement to shape behavior, has been proven effective with diverse populations and across various types of family relationships in decreasing substance abuse and getting the user into treatment.
