Rim and Hubcap Protector Invented by InventHelp Clients (DHM-307)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 18, 2016 -- Until now there has been no easy way to keep car rims and hubcaps free of spray residue when cleaning or applying a protective coating to the tires. However, two inventors from Raleigh, N.C., have filled that gap.
They developed THE RIM-IT specifically to provide a simple solution to this problem. As such, it keeps conventional tire coatings and chemical cleaners applied in spray form off of the wheels. Thus, it eliminates the need to wipe down rims and hubcaps after spraying the tires. In other words, it saves time and lot of physical work. At the same time, it improves the appearance of the wheels and is convenient, effective and affordably priced. Other benefits include its ease of use, light weight and durability. Ideal for both commercial and consumer use, this accessory also features a simple design that minimizes production costs.
The inventors’ personal experience inspired the idea. “I got tired of having to wipe off my tire rims every time the tire protectant was applied and wanted to find some way to keep the excess spray off of the rims,” one of them said. The idea is patent pending.
The original design was submitted to the Durham office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
