For the past twenty years, she has utilized her culinary expertise as chef of several reputable dining locations and has motivated and mentored countless individuals into roles of leadership.
As executive chef at Prairie Band, Ms. Jenkins consistently delivers the standards of culinary excellence that she sets for herself and her executive team in all of the resort restaurants and food service venues. She expertly selects food products from a range of purveyors utilized by the resort and engages in menu creation, event planning and catering. Leading a team of seven salaried personnel and 56 hourly team members in four dining outlets, Ms. Jenkins ensures that only the highest quality of service is delivered to her customers.
Apart from these exceptional accomplishments, Ms. Jenkins has built a food rescue initiative program that donates recoverable foods to a local behavioral healthcare center feeding those who lack the resources to provide daily nutrition. The program has donated 6,776 pounds of food to date. “Being a chef and achieving executive chef rank was always my career goal. I am in a unique, coveted position of being able to express my creative and innovative inclinations,” she says.
