Robert Baltrum Joins York Space Systems as Vice President of Engineering
DENVER, Feb. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- York Space Systems, an aerospace company specializing in complete space segment customer solutions and the manufacture of standardized spacecraft platforms, today announced the appointment of Robert Baltrum as Vice President of Engineering. Baltrum, a seasoned space industry veteran, joins the York Space Systems team from Ball Aerospace and Technology Corporation (BATC) where he held various leadership roles, most recently as the Systems Engineering & Integration and Test Lead for the Spacecraft Product Center.

With more than 20 years of experience, Baltrum's extensive career includes leading numerous classified space programs and spearheading the engineering efforts for NASA's Suomi-NPP weather satellite. Prior to his role at BATC, Baltrum held leadership positions with industry leading firms including Orbital Sciences and AeroAstro. He has received numerous awards including the NASA System Engineering Excellence Award, NASA Group Achievement Award, and the Follet award.
