Robert C. Baker’s New Memoir Tells of ‘Angel in the Fire’
CULPEPPER, Va. (PRWEB) April 10, 2015 -- At age 15, author and Minister Robert C. Baker nearly died in a gasoline explosion. After having a brush with death, Baker decided it was time to truly live. He tells of his near-death experience and of God’s saving grace in his new memoir, “Angel in the Fire: A Miracle in The Life of Robert Baker” (published by WestBow Press).
Immediately after his accident, Baker says he saw an angel amidst the flames. This angel lit the way to safety, which led to Baker surviving the ordeal. Baker then embarked on the road to recovery: a road that would take him months to complete.
“Angel in the Fire” plants readers in Baker’s shoes as he rises from the ashes and pursues a new life filled with conviction. Once healed, he begins ministering to all who will listen and enlightening others on God’s mercy.
“Our world is filled with fear, doubts, unbelieving and hopeless people wondering ‘where is the American dream?’” Baker says. “I want this book to point people to look up and trust God.”
Baker hopes the story of his overcoming death will serve as a reminder to readers that no matter what someone is going through, God can get them through it.
