Robert Morris University Illinois Names Mablene Krueger Ninth President
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 02, 2015 -- The Board of Trustees of Robert Morris University Illinois is pleased to announce that Mablene Krueger assumes the presidency of the University on July 1, 2015. Ms Krueger replaces Michael P. Viollt, who has served as president for the past 20 years and will now serve as Chancellor.
A native of Colchester, Illinois, Ms. Krueger graduated from the RMU Carthage campus in 1977. She returned to become an instructor, teaching business administration and then became director of the RMU Springfield campus in 1994. She relocated to the Chicago campus in 2000 where she served as Senior Vice President for Enrollment and Academics. Most recently, she has served as Provost of the University since 2005.
Ms. Krueger attended the University of Illinois at Springfield where she received her bachelor’s and Master of Business Administration degrees. She is a resident of Arlington Heights.
