Mobile, AL (PRWEB) December 18, 2015 -- According to the New York Times article, big manufacturers promise to create hundreds, if not thousands, of new jobs in Mobile. Leading the way is Airbus, which recently opened its $600-million plant on what was Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile.

Now, just three years later, as Airbus begins to ramp up to build aircraft from the A320 family, the city has been noticed by many other companies for its growth and opportunities.”
In addition to Airbus, Whole Foods recently opened a brand-new Mobile location, with Costco, Field & Stream and Home Goods following suit and spurring economic growth in the McGowin Park area. Dunkin’ Donuts has also made an entrance with four Gulf Coast locations.
“All of these businesses are fueling economic development for Mobile and the surrounding areas,” said Erica, a top Realtor for Roberts Brothers. “With all of the job opportunities and growth, it is bound to impact the residential market in a positive way. The city has also enticed Carnival Cruise Lines, following a 13-month deal, which will bring its 855-foot Fantasy ship to Mobile and will be setting sail from the Alabama Cruise Terminal for four- and five-day cruises to ports in Mexico starting in November 2016. Mobile also recently saw the opening of the GulfQuest Maritime Museum and an outdoor ice-skating rink from November 14, 2015, to January 12, 2016.
