Robertson Insurance Associates Collaborates with the Autism Society of Northern Virginia on Fundraising Campaign

The Autism Society of Northern Virginia (ASNV) is proud to have served the community for almost 50 years. One of more than 100 chapters across the country, the ASNV works towards a day when no one will have to walk the autism journey alone by building community for over 5000 individuals and families in the region. Focusing on education, advocacy and support, popular programs include a life skills program for autistic adults by autistic adults, low-cost family social events and an assistive technology program which provides tablets and training to families. Most autism therapies and services are not covered by insurance; therefore, the ASNV provides reimbursement to families for autism-related expenses through their mini-grant program. Over $500,000 in financial assistance has been provided to area families over the last 10 years.
