Robertson Insurance Associates Launches New Charity Campaign to Help Provide for Local Family in Crisis

A hard-working father of two, James Dwayne Kougher died suddenly on the day of the big snowstorm which occurred January 22, 2016. He leaves behind his wife, Rebecca and their two children, Elizabeth and Aaron. The family was waiting for Dwayne to join them for a walk, when the children went inside and found their father lying on the kitchen floor. Rebecca administered CPR while Elizabeth called 911, but no one was able to revive him. Having just started a new job, Dwayne was not eligible for life insurance.
“This is a perfect example of why we created our Community Program,” said Rick Robertson, owner of Robertson Insurance Associates. “I can’t imagine the horror of trying to grieve for a beloved husband and father while facing the economic uncertainty of how to pay the funeral expenses – let alone facing the future without the breadwinner of the family.
