Robin Liebowitz Joins George Washington University Center for International Business Education and Research Advisory Council
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Robin Liebowitz, Principal and Founder of rkl3d, LLC http://rkl3d.com, was appointed to the George Washington University Center for International Business Education and Research (GW-CIBER) Advisory Council to collaborate on crafting policies and programs to benefit GWU students in the field of international business. http://www.business.gwu.edu/CIBER/home.cfm
In addition to working with other esteemed Council members, Robin will focus on supporting research related to several fields such as foreign direct investment, cross border mergers and acquisitions, emerging economy innovations, and energy security. She will participate in CIBER programs and activities, particularly to enhance the Center’s business outreach efforts and help create employment and internship opportunities for GWU students.
The appointment builds on her extensive background in international business and research via past corporate tenure and currently as founder of rkl3d, a marketing consulting firm. Liebowitz is a two-time graduate of GWU having acquired both her BBA in Marketing (1985) and MBA in International Business (1987).

The George Washington University CIBER promotes the nation's capacity for international understanding and economic enterprise related to the theme of Institutions, the State and Development in International Business. This theme draws on strong faculty capabilities across a range of disciplines, as well as university-wide interests in promoting economic development through scholarship, education, and outreach to the business, academic, and policy communities. GW-CIBER also serves as a national and regional resource supporting business language instruction, with a focus on less-commonly taught languages, in order to increase future professionals' abilities to communicate in the language of commerce.
