Roland Garcia Joins Mentoring Minds as Educational Consultant
San Diego, California (PRWEB) February 25, 2015 -- Mentoring Minds, a national publisher of K-12 educational resources, announced today that Roland Garcia, a seasoned sales professional with nearly 15 years of experience in the education industry, has joined their rapidly expanding national sales team. Garcia will lead the company’s sales efforts in San Diego as well as portions of California’s Inland Empire, including Riverside and San Bernardino.

Garcia has held top sales positions at several leading education publishers, including education solution specialist for SMART Technologies; senior account executive covering Southern and Central California for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt; and regional professional development director for Pearson. He began his career as a teacher and site technology coordinator at San Diego State University and, for the past 16 years, has served as an adjunct professor teaching educational technology at the graduate school at National University in San Diego.
Garcia earned his bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from the University of California, San Diego and Riverside, respectively. He also holds a master’s degree in educational administration from San Diego State. He resides in Lakeside, California.
