RollBack XP Now Released - Freeware Resurrects the Windows XP Operating System

On April 8th, 2014, Microsoft stopped its support for Windows XP. It is the oldest operating system with a stable user base, currently running on over a billion PCs worldwide. Horizon DataSys developed RollBack XP to help lockdown Windows XP. Since Windows XP is no longer supported, users that are reluctant to upgrade to newer operating systems are now looking at options to prevent changes to workstations. "The main difference between RollBack XP is that the built-in Windows System Restore feature only resore system files only. Christened 'RollBack XP', the software uses sector-level mapping technology on PC hard drives to record exact copies of your system at a given point in time. These 'Snapshots' are stored at the sector level, and cannot be accessed through Windows manually. The software creates a sub-OS that is pre-boot, giving users the ability to restore their PC to a desired system state in less than a minute, before booting to Window. RollBack XP functions the same ways Horizon DataSys's RollBack RX. RollBack XP is able to take snapshots of the system within seconds, and can roll back within Windows or pre-boot, depending on the user's preference or situation.
