Romacorp Executives Named to Leading Industry Boards
Orlando, Fla (PRWEB) February 26, 2015 -- Romacorp, Inc., parent company of Tony Roma’s, announces that three of its executives have been named to some of the country’s most prominent industry boards. These appointments recognize the experience and contributions these individuals have made to building the Romacorp, Inc. business globally as well as the influence they have on the future direction of the industry.
• Chef Bob Gallagher, Senior Vice President of Culinary and Purchasing for Romacorp, Inc., has been named to the Global Culinary Innovators Association (GCIA) Board of Directors. The GCIA is a network of the nation’s leading menu developers from growth chains in the U.S., and his participation on the board recognizes him as one of the leading culinary visionaries in the industry. Chef Gallagher has been practicing in the culinary industry for more than 20 years, and he’s opened more than 35 new restaurants. He joined Romacorp, Inc. in 2006.
• Bradley Smith, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Romacorp, Inc., has been re-elected to the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (FRLA) Board of Directors for a three year term. The FRLA is one of the most influential trade associations in the state with a mission to protect, educate and promote the hospitality industry. Smith has more than 26 years of experience in the restaurant industry and has been with Romacorp, Inc. for nine years.
• Jim Rogers, Chief Marketing Officer for Romacorp, Inc., has been named to the Technomic Operator Advisory Board. This board brings executives together for ideation and planning sessions covering pressing industry topics with a focus on innovation and the consumer. Rogers has 25 years of domestic and international marketing and general management experience in the restaurant and consumer packaged goods industries. He joined Romacorp, Inc. in June 2014.
