Ronald Citron Advocates Revering Sabbath Day in New Book

BLANDON, Pa. (PRWEB) April 08, 2015 -- In the Bible, God worked six days and rested on the seventh, calling it the Sabbath. Both Jewish and Christian religions have traditionally honored the Sabbath in some way, with some also using it as a day of rest. Author Ronald Citron was one of these people – that is until he became a homeowner. His new book, “If God Intended the Sabbath, Why Did He Create Home Ownership?: A Journey Through Sabbaths Lost” (published by WestBow Press), details the struggles with taking care of a home while also observing the Sabbath.

Citron wonders why people waste the Sabbath. He invites readers to examine the reasons that cause “lost Sabbaths.” He believes many of these problems stem from the inevitable projects that come with owning a home. His book makes the case for readers reinstating the Sabbath in their lives.

Written in a first-person narrative style, “If God Intended the Sabbath, Why Did He Create Home Ownership?” takes a sympathetic and humorous approach to the problems that can interfere with the Sabbath. Citron says his point is not to preach to his readers; rather, he hopes that they can see themselves in some of the situations encountered in the book.
