Rubin Joins Lewis Roca Rothgerber
(PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- Lewis Roca Rothgerber announced today Andrew Rubin has joined the firm’s Business Transactions practice group as an Associate in its Colorado Springs and Denver offices.
Rubin’s practice is primarily focused on business transactions including federal tax implications of real estate and energy transactions (1031 exchanges, 1254 recapture), corporate tax (entity formation, M&A), partnership tax, and international tax (cross-border investments, inbound and outbound transactions). He also advises on state and local tax issues and frequently handles tax controversy and tax planning matters related to income tax, sales and use tax, and severance tax.
Rubin graduated with a JD from Syracuse University College of Law and a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.) from Northwestern University School of Law. Most recently, he received a Master of Laws in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Policy from the University Of Denver Sturm College of Law. Rubin is licensed to practice law across the mountain west (CO, WY, ND, MT, UT, AZ).
