Runaway Orphans Find Love Outside Foster Care in New Book

Peterson’s new book talks about how people can come together and find love for each other. Set in Lakeview, N.Y., it tells the story of two orphans, Joey and Melissa, who need help and a loving family. After running away from the orphanage, they find a couple who learn to love them. The couple sees the good in Joey. They feel that he is an honest boy who takes responsibility seriously, and decide to welcome him and his sister into their lives.

About the Author
Lois Peterson is an 80-year-old author and a portrait artist. She now has a large family with a total of seven children, 24 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She feels people need more good stories for children. She has been a homemaker all her life, trying to teach her own children the right things and values. She has written three other children’s books that have not yet been published.
