RURO Releases FreezerPro® version 6.2

The FreezerPro® reputation is that of a quick and easy method to gain better control of sample inventory related work. With the latest version, RURO engineering has enhanced the system’s support for those customers who rely on import to move large amounts of sample records.

With the release of version 6.2, FreezerPro® users are now able to manage multiple Smartfreezer® units – such as requesting disparate vials for check out or requesting multi-unit inventory reports – from a single login.
In order to make FreezerPro® easy for IT staff to manage, it has always featured an incredibly simple yet secure Virtual Machine (VM) deployment. FreezerPro® version 6.2 also includes improvements that give customer IT staff better support for moving or otherwise managing the virtual deployment after the system goes live.

• Centralized management of integration with multiple SmartFreezer® robotic units
• New role rights, report templates, and sample icons added
• New option to pre-scan 2D barcodes, including via 96-well plate scanners
• Japanese language and country settings added
• Improved support for BioTillion BoxMapper: networked units
